I have an invoice that is stalled in pending payment status. Could you please take a look?

thank you for emailing my receipt and downloaded files. I am using Authorize. this invoice has been sitting in pending payment status. According to Authorize, the invoice has not been sent to them. The keys are entered correctly.

This from Authorize – “It sounds like the application never pushed it to the gateway therefore it is pending on their end. I do apologize.”

    Hello,

Pending means that it has not yet been paid.

And you are saying that there is not yet a record of the payment with the gateway?

That makes sense, doesn’t it? You can tell the customer then that they should try payment again because it failed the last time.

Have you already tested the gateway with test keys?

I’m sorry but it’s not making sense to me. The customer should be able to pay for the listing on the website. I don’t want to have to contact every customer for payment. With WPinvoice, am I expected to send an invoice to every customer, rather than have them checkout on the website?

You don’t need to contact every client to pay. They should be able to pay on your website or the payment gateway website (depending on which you use.)

What Alex is saying, is that when you see a pending status, most of the time it means that the transaction was declined by the customer’s bank.

Another reason could be that the Gateway wasn’t setup correctly.

Did you try to test with a sandbox account before asking clients to pay through it? https://developer.authorize.net/hello_world/testing_guide/

    Let us know.

    Thanks
