    Hi,
    is there any explaining documentation for PayPal Pro Payment Installation?

    How to activate recurring payment? How to add Paypal button? Etc.?

    Hi Holger,

    If you already have a paypal pro account then this works like any other gateway, just enable it and insert the credentials, you can follow these instructions on how to get your credentials: https://developer.paypal.com/docs/classic/api/apiCredentials/#create-an-api-signature

    just FYI, recurring payments and so on are set through the pricing manager add-on of GeoDirectory.

    Payment Gateway just handle the payments and asStiofan said, they require only your account ID to be setup.

    Still one question:
    After Input of PayPal api and so on, in the wpi-checkout it shows as payment method the PayPal pro modul. That is good. But only the credit Card option with entering ‘Card number’, expiry month, expiry year and cvv. It’s not asking for any specific credit Card. Is that correct?
    Additionaly I wonder why is there no Option to pay directly with the PayPal account of the Client (if he has one)?
    Do I have to Setup anything else? Did I forget something? Or is it something I have to do in my PayPal Settings?
    Any help is welcome.

    Hello,

    PayPal Pro detects the card type from the card number so there is never any need to select it.
    If you want to also show normal PayPal you can simple enable the standard paypal gateway also.
