No invoices being produced after the initial invoice?

    Re-posting here, as per instruction from Kor.

    I am struggling to see what I’m missing here.
    Customer purchases a package and gets the first invoice without any issues.
    The following month, the customer is billed via Stripe as expected, but no invoice is created on the site?
    I’m using GD V2, and WP Invoicing – Stripe as the payment gateway.

    Perhaps I missed a tick-box somewhere?

    Hello,

    Invoices are not created in the site for recurring subscription billings.

    Is this something you would like to see added?

    Hi Alex,
    Yes, I would like to see this as people are being billed without invoices.

    Is it a quick fix? Is there something I can do to add this myself without too much trouble?

    This is not a quick fix but a task has been set to include this in a future version.

    Alternatively, you might want to check out this documentation.

    Hi Picocodes,
    Thanks, but I’m not quite sure how to use the documentation you linked.
    Is there any update on the ability for invoices to be created for each time someone is billed?
    I don’t particularly like that customers can be billed without invoices being produced – its an accounting nightmare.

    Hi Marc,

    the developers have added a task to look into adding this to future versions. There isn’t a quick workaround at the moment.

    We have added this topic so you will get updates on progress.

    Hi Alex,

    Thanks for your response.
    I guess I was being optimistic that it would have been completed by now, its been almost 2 weeks.
    How are people currently billing their customers without invoices, charging them VAT?

    The developers have other important tasks, in addition to this one. We really can’t provide a timeline for this.

    Other folks are using Invoicing as is.
