    Hello,
In my country, Chile, there’s an indicator called “UF” (unidad de fomento) that is widely used for charging services.

The thing is that this is a floating “currency”, changes everyday.
    EG. day 1: 1UF = clp$27.000; day 2: 1UF = clp$27.100

You guys already did a plugin for Webpay (chilean gateway) and this gateway is capable of charging in UF.

Do you think is possible to add this as a currency in Invoice Plugin? So with GD Price and Payments I can use this.

*In case you want to know, UF readjusts itself with the inflation, so if you charge with it you don’t lose your “buying power”. Also looks cheaper to pay 1 UF than clp$27.000!
It’s always convenient for the seller to use this.

**Sorry for the strange situation, I live in a strange place it seems :S

I alerted the developers to have a look at your question.
    Thanks

    Hi Ian bran,

Just for our information, Do you mean we need to add CLF or UF currency or both? We already have the currency CLP(Chilean Peso) in our Invoice plugin.

    Regards,
    Patrik

    Hello Patrik,

Yes, to add the UF. It’s just when they are paying that is “necessary” to gather the UF price data (from “Banco Central de Chile”, it’s like BOE in the UK).

Maybe what’s needed is adding that currency to tell the Webpay plugin to use that at the checkout, webpay should do the conversion.

Hope this makes sense, I’m afraid I don’t have enough experience in this topic.

    Thank you!

    Hello,

the developers are considering what approach to take with supporting ‘other’ currencies outside of the large list of national currencies currently supported by the plugin.

Another topic was posted today here today, so, we are listening and considering the options.

    https://wpinvoicing.com/support/topic/custom-currency/

In the mean time this is a customization and outside of what we can do right now at this moment.
