Hi friends, we have installed the Mollie addon and we have tried a test purchase, but we can’t get past the Checkout. We create a DIrectory Listing, we go to the Review process, we land on the Checkout, fill in all fields, and click “Proceed to Pay”.

The page reloads with this error message:

Error: Error executing API call (request): No suitable payment methods found.

    We are using WordPress 5.0.2.
We are using the last versions for all addons and geodirectory.

On our Settings we believe all is normal and fine. What can the error be? Thanks,

Oups, apparently I didn’t select the proper Country and City, sorry! I keep having trouble though and the VAT number is mandatory and it’s very picky with the business name.

After some trials, I have found on the VIES VAT number validation page (official European Union page) a validated VAT number but the plugin doesn’t seem to recognize the exact Company Name and the exact VAT number as corrects (” VAT number not validated” error).

I disabled temporary the VIES validation, both for name and for number.

    Is there still a problem?
VAT can be tricky, has to be exact, yes.

We finally got it validated after restarting a purchase process, however we still receive this message:

Error: Error executing API call (request): No suitable payment methods found.

What could it be? Thanks guys (screenshot attached),

PS: on the attached screenshot the Terms and Conditions checkbox is empty but we do check it before clicking “Proceed”, here it’s empty because the page just reloaded (with the error message).

    Hi,

Can you check if you have created payment methods and activated under mollie.com / Settings / Website profiles / Profile / Payment methods? If not then please create a profile and activate the credit card method and let me know if it works for you or not.

    Regards,
    Patrik

It turns out we needed to activate the Credit Card and this requires approval.
Mollie have to check the site for the legally required info before enabling it.
I’ll update if anything else arises but this could explain the issue.
    Thanks,

    Hi,

The settings are correct. You have test mode active. So once you are finished with testing you need to supply the live API key in Invoicing settings and disable the test mode checkbox. Let me know if it works fine or not after finishing mollie gateway credit card method setup.

    Regards,
    Patrik
