    Hello,

apologies if this has been asked before, but I could not find any search results.

I know how to set up and limit a coupon code to a certain end date. Is it possible to set the limit to a number of days (say 365) starting from the date a registered user submitts a paid listing? The coupon form only offers to leave the according fields blank or enter an exact date, which is not appropriate for what I would like to achieve.

    Regards,
    Martin

What are you trying to do?

Give the first year free for a yearly recurring listing?
In that case, give it xx% or $xx for first payment only.

    Can you explain more?

    Thanks

Thanks for your reply Guust. Yes, I would like to give the first year free for a paid „premium“ listing (starting from the 1st day of listing entry). After the end of that year, a user should be informed that his listing will expire and be downgraded to a free „basic“ listing, and if he wishes to continue with the premium listing he will have to pay the regular price.

So this is how my setup looks right now (please see attached file – sorry, in German) If I leave start and end date blank, will this result in „1 year from now on“?

The discount you want then is a 100% discount for a yearly listing.
If the listing is recurring, set it for the first payment only.
    Thanks

Okay, so leaving the fields blank results in a yearly listing, right? The listing is recurring and I will set it to the first payment only.

You need to set up the packages first in GD. Set up a yearly package.
Allow the discount to be used for the yearly package.
