I would like to limit some functionality in WordPress to only users with an active subscription. Is there a way I can check that in PHP?

    Hi,

Can you give more detail about what you want to restrict? You may need to do customization for that.

We have a Chamber of Commerce site that the members need an active subscription to be able to access their GD listing. We are also using GD CPT for the members to be able to post jobs and maybe will switch our events to GD CPT as well. I want to be able to restrict their ability to post jobs and events if their membership is not active. The only thing that I can see to be able to determine if a membership is active is a current subscription for the Place listing. So I am hoping there is a global variable or function that I can check if the user has a current, active subscription. If they don’t, then I would restrict access to the add job posting and add event posting interfaces.

    Hi Trace,

In Invoicing subscription are allowed for listings not for users. One user can add multiple listings with active subscription. It does not allows to restricts the users to prevent adding listings. To restrict users it needs user level restrictions.

    Let us know.
