My invoices keep defaulting to the “Paid” status when I send them. It is confusing for my clients and looks unprofessional. Is there an option to fix this that I keep missing or is this just a super annoying bug? Either way, please help me to fix it.

    Hello,

I can’t recreate that on my test site, can you describe the steps you are taking to create the invoice?

I don’t care that you can’t reproduce it when it happens every time I publish an invoice. The steps to recreate it is simple, make an invoice, notice that the default setting says Payment Pending, publish it and notice that the email sent says the status is Paid. This leads one to go check the invoice and sure enough it has defaulted to Paid once sent. Also can’t seem to add an additional email when sending an invoice, which is super annoying and while I am at it, is this a half-finished development project? The entire user experience on the WP Invoicing website feels lacking and the product, while having some promising potential, still leaves a lot to be desired.

Let’s take these one at a time. We would be happy to take a look at your site to see if we can find the problem. It sounds like there might be an interaction or conflict with another plugin.

Thanks for sharing the steps you take, it helps to clarify the issue.

Please be sure to have completed all the steps for configuration, and do check to see that your plugins are all up to date.
