    Hello,
I’ve installed WP Invoicing for a client. During my testing, I get the error “invalid invoice user id” when trying to pay the invoice. I noticed others have the same issue. Saw a couple people say you get this error when the user isn’t logged in. But 1. I am logged in, and 2. I have “Require Login to Checkout” unchecked.

    Please help, thank you.

Also, I’m trying to set up this plugin using the Paypal gateway. I’ve added my client’s Paypal email address. Not sure if Paypal could be misconfigured and that’s why I’m getting the error.

But I’m getting this error whether I do Paypal or the Test Payment.

Sorry, I accidentally replied using my client’s login.

Ok, it is working – sometimes. If I try paying the invoice, it will give the error, even though I am logged in. But, if I log out and log back in and try to pay the invoice, I get no error – as if it didn’t recognize at first that I was in fact logged in.

Or, if I try to pay the invoice while logged out, it will give me the error, but if I log in, I get no error.

I just would like our users to be able to move forward in the payment process without having to register or login at all. I thought that was the point of the Contact Form add-in.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi,

Can you disable “Require Login to Checkout” and see if users can pay it without login/register via the link received in the email address?

    Regards,
    Patrik

Yes sir, it’s been disabled since the beginning. I also activated it and deactivated it again just to make sure.

Yeah unfortunately we are hosted on WordPress.com, so we don’t have FTP access.

Yeah there’s no way to do it ourselves but I just had WP support clear it for us. It’s supposed to clear every time we make a change to our site.

Just a heads up – we just did a domain transfer that applied today, so the new site will be hyb-hub.com. Access might be intermittent for the next couple days.
