generate invoice – manually add listing

    Invoice is not being generated when I manually enter add a listing and publish??

    Am I missing the step??

    You can do that if the listing is in draft mode.
    Edit the listing in the backend, set it to draft, and then save.
    In the top right a WPI option will appear to generate an invoice for the listing.

    Yes, it generated the invoice. SO…

    – when adding a listing manually you should first save it as a draft, generate the invoice, then publish the listing?? MANUALLY email the invoice!!

    – when changing packages you should set listing to draft, select the new package, generate the invoice, then publish the listing? MANUALLY email the invoice!!

    FYI — three+ days of support tickets regarding changing the ownership of a listing and/or changing the email address that the invoice is sent to…and all along the answer lie in switching to draft mode, making the changes and publishing

    Seems to be…I’ll know better once a payment is made

    When that first payment is made and the system creates the link to the recurring subscription will the system automatically make the payment or will the listing owner need to manually make the payment each month??

    For instance, in paypal, I subscribe to packages an each month my card is charged automatically, all I eeceive each month it an email that the charge was successful.

    The charge is made directly by PayPal, and then Paypal will send notifications if setup and then Paypal will notify the site that the recurring payment has been made.

    I’m Sorry…I think your saying “yes, the automatic payments will be handled thru paypal” ?? If setup??

    Will I need to set something up on my paypal account??

    You will need to check with Paypal about the notifications they send.
