    Hi Paolo,

Sorry for posting in the wrong forum. Here is the link to the topic I was asking about, referring to using Stripe as Split Payments (here is one of the plugin developers I’ve used for this in the past https://www.wcvendors.com/product/stripe-commissions-gateway/ )

    Hi,

I have several questions related to using the GD Invoicing Plugin:

    1. If we’re using the GD Invoicing plugin so we can use Stripe Payments, do we need to even bother with Woocommerce? You answered that we do not need to use Woocommerce.

    2. If we need to also use Woocommerce, how do we select the Terms & Conditions page in the Woocommerce Settings area?

    3. Can the GD Stripe Payments / Invoicing plugin be used to split payments in addition to charging a monthly subscription fee? (if so, with or without having to use Woocommerce?)

SPLIT PAYMENTS is a way to allow vendors to sell products on your website (such as GeoDirectory) and be able to set a commission rate that automatically gets paid out as the products are purchased (similar to PayPal Adaptive Payments except it’s using Stripe) https://www.wcvendors.com/product/stripe-commissions-gateway/

PLUS it also allows you to charge the vendor a normal subscription fee on top of a commission (flat fee or percentage of price on each product sold) or just charge one or the other. Currently, the way GeoDirectory is setup is you only have one choice and that’s to charge a subscription fee…

Unless I’m overlooking something…does GeoDirectory offer the ability to do Split Payments using Stripe such as WCVendors plugin does using Woocommerce?

    Thank you,
    Robert

You do not need WooCommerce to sell GD Listings, you can just use WP Invoicing.

    2. If we need to also use Woocommerce, how do we select the Terms & Conditions page in the Woocommerce Settings area?
WooCommerce > Settings > Checkout tab > Checkout pages > Terms and Conditions page

    3. Can the GD Stripe Payments / Invoicing plugin be used to split payments in addition to charging a monthly subscription fee?
No, only once-off fees and recurring payments.
But have a look at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/affiliatewp-integration-add-on-overview/

    Thanks

    Hi Guust,

What is a “once-off fee”? Please clarify.

Also, so your saying to setup an affiliate environment (which I love the idea of) and that GD does not currently support splitting payments (by fixed amounts or a percentage of each sale) using either Stripe or PayPal Adaptive Payments?

    Please clarify.

    Thank you,
    Robert

    A once-off fee is a payment for a non-recurring listing.

GD indeed does not support split payments.
The reference to an affiliate setup is just an alternative suggestion because split payments are not supported.

    Thanks
