Billed After Trial with Discount

    Hi,

    One of our users got billed even though we gave her a discount code.

    1-year plan is $79 with 30 days free trial.

    She said did put the code that we provided so that she could get 1 year FREE and should be charged after 30days(free trial)+365days(discount code) – did we miss a setting?

    We have to do a refund ofcourse:
    Invoice status changed from Paid to Refunded
    System – June 12, 2019 at 5:45 am

    Also,

    Subscription ID: 22
    Billing Cycle: $0.00 then $79.00 / 1 Year
    Times Billed: 0 / Until Cancelled
    Start Date: May 6, 2019
    Expiration Date: June 5, 2019
    Subscription Status: Failing

    What does Failing mean?

    Subscription Status: Failing

    Means the transaction did go through, are you sure you received the money?

    Please provide a link and admin credentials so our developers can have a look.

    Hi,

    You want to give 30 days trial but also 1 year free for your user right? You are giving a discount code with the same amount as the plan but the thing is that as it will be on trial the discount will do nothing as the order total will be 0(zero). So the discount will be applied but the total will be the same. Also, you have selected condition for your discount to apply only for the first payment which means it will not apply after the trial period.

    So I would suggest instead of giving discount code you can create a new item with the trial period of 30 days + 1 year = 395 days and check if it works for you as required.
