It turns out we needed to activate the Credit Card and this requires approval.
Mollie have to check the site for the legally required info before enabling it.
I’ll update if anything else arises but this could explain the issue.

Error: Error executing API call (request): No suitable payment methods found.
What could it be? Thanks guys (screenshot attached),
PS: on the attached screenshot the Terms and Conditions checkbox is empty but we do check it before clicking “Proceed”, here it’s empty because the page just reloaded (with the error message).
January 6, 2019 at 6:36 pm in reply to: Mollie Error: Error: Error executing API call (request): No suitable payment met #2483I disabled temporary the VIES validation, both for name and for number.
January 6, 2019 at 5:38 pm in reply to: Mollie Error: Error: Error executing API call (request): No suitable payment met #2482Oups, apparently I didn’t select the proper Country and City, sorry! I keep having trouble though and the VAT number is mandatory and it’s very picky with the business name.
After some trials, I have found on the VIES VAT number validation page (official European Union page) a validated VAT number but the plugin doesn’t seem to recognize the exact Company Name and the exact VAT number as corrects (” VAT number not validated” error).
Hi Patrick, thanks! That is the setting we have enabled, but it’s confusing to me. Does it means that people will have to write their VAT number obligatorily?
That would be our goal, so we keep a record of each and every VAT number from same country buyers.
Thanks,
